This review is left by a customer who has never purchased our product.
She reached out via Facebook to demand that we give her free products because she misinterpreted what our AI chatbot stated was a display case. The display case is our cardboard display case as shown in picture 4 of the starter bundle listing. She was demanding that we give her a free Wooden Storage Box (valued at $90+) or she would report us to the BBB. She claimed not to be able to see the display case anywhere on our site despite me explaining exactly what it is and where to find it.
She called us and claimed that we outsource our customer overseas because the voicemail greeting she got is text-to-speech.
I asked for a phone call and she again tried to bully us into giving her free product. This was far and away the most disrespectful, condescending interaction I have ever had with a customer. She accused us of intentionally coding our chatbot to mislead people. She accused us of false advertising saying that we say every product we sell is made in the USA (which we do not) - we source as many items in the USA as is possible, but for some items, such as the butane torch, there does not exist a single factory in the USA that produces torches. We are very open about our products and where they come from. Any customer that wants to know the exact origin of a product can reach out and we will share. We do state that our business is based in the USA, which is 100% true.
She was then confused about pricing (seeing different SKUs at different prices, and discounts we offer), and accused us of using carelessness and deception to try to sell our products at confusing prices.
At the end of the day, we can't please everyone, but after two days have passed, she is now trying to review bomb our website. In the spirit of transparency, I've opted not to unpublish her review (which would affect our Diamond transparency rating with our review software) but instead highlight the way she has been harrassing us and trying to bully our business for free items.
We very clearly sell the highest quality cocktail smokers, bar accessories, and cocktail syrups available. Ask any of our 250k+ customers who have left thousands of 5 star reviews - or you can take Michelle's word for it who has never tried any of our products but instead is upset we do not give into harrassment just to make a sale.
Michele, please move onto another company. I will not continue to invest our support team's time into replying to your antics. Do better.
