I found the mix to be overly sweet and lacking aromatics so I will not be buying again. I love a well balanced old-fashioned and this mix doesn't deliver for my taste. It's not bad, it's just not good either.

If the Syrup is too sweet, and if you haven't already, we recommend playing around with the measurements and ratios. Our standard serving is 1/4 oz of Syrup with 2 ounces of whiskey. However, if this is too sweet for you, we recommend trying 1/4 ounce of Syrup to 2 and a half ounces of whiskey. If you decide to play around with this, let us know what ratio works best for you!
